Niantic has removed the costume Gengar raids from Pokemon Go

Naintic has just announced on their X Account that the costume Gengar is no longer available in Raids, as Raidboss. It can be found now in Field Research.

You have a second chance to find this costume. It is unclear what the exact mission is. Niantic has likely removed this Gengar costume from Raids in order to prevent any problems for Gengar’s Giagantamax Battles. Below you can see the full message.

 

Trainers, please note the following change to the Halloween 2024 Part II event: Gengar wearing a Spooky Festival costume will no longer appear in Raids and will now be available as a Field Research reward.
