Pokemon GO: Should players in Belgium and the Netherlands also be concerned about the game?

We announced this morning that Pokemon Unite would no longer be available in the Netherlands or Belgium at the end of the year. The first question we asked was, “What could this mean to Pokemon GO users from the Netherlands or Belgium?” Why not kill Pokemon GO if the Dutch and Belgians are willing to do so?

The Pokemon Unite prize machine is a great addition to Pokemon Unite.

The Pokémon Unite Prize Machine is an in-game feature introduced during Pokémon Unite’s 2-year anniversary. Players can get daily rewards by turning this “prize machine.” To use the machine, you need Energy Boosters or special tickets, which can be earned by completing challenges or participating in events. With each spin, players have a chance to win different rewards, such as Aeos Coins, Aeos Tickets, Holowear or other in-game items. The machine makes it attractive to log in daily and provides an extra motivation to participate in in-game activities. You can also use real money to turn to for this purpose.

You will also find that even after the game was available for over two years, the Pokemon Unite Prize Machine has been added. This is a possibility, and it could happen after eight years with Pokemon GO. The Netherlands and Belgium may be a smaller market than Pokemon Unite, but they are still a significant part of the Pokemon GO audience. Hopefully, this will give Pokemon GO’s creators motivation not to add such a feature.

We don’t have any reason to be afraid for the moment, but you can never predict what lies ahead.
